VetPartners Portugal holds its first meeting of clinical directors
The objective of the meeting was to jointly discuss improvements in work processes, in order to establish synergies and strengthen this family, focusing on its fundamental values: closeness, respect, collaboration, support and dedication.

Oporto hosted the first meeting of clinical directors of VetPartners Portugal veterinary centers at the end of June. The objective of this meeting was to jointly discuss improvements in work processes, in order to establish synergies and strengthen this family, focusing on its fundamental values: closeness, respect, collaboration, support and dedication.

They were present the clinical directors Ivo Lima da Silva, from the Vilavet Veterinary Clinic; Diogo Frias, from the Trofa Veterinary Hospital; Pedro Cunha e Silva, from the Serralves Veterinary Clinic; Hugo Brancal, from the Covilhã Veterinary Clinic; and Ricardo Dias, from the Torres Pet Veterinary Clinic. The meeting, led by Margarida Tomé, Senior Director of Business Development, was also attended by Teresa Patrício, Director of Business Development.

For VetPartners, it is essential to provide the necessary support to our centers and meeting regularly is the best way to achieve this and strengthen our ties.

The meeting was also attended by Juan Carlos Giménez, member of the VetPartners Scientific Committee, and Pedro Sousa, director of the Service of Analgesia and Anesthesia at the Montjuic Veterinary Hospital and member of the VetPartners Scientific Committee, who presented the creation of interest groups for all members of the VetPartners family. These working groups aim to develop guidelines and support clinical teams in the practice of evidence-based medicine and in the continuous improvement of clinical services.

Thus, stakeholders are assumed as essential elements in the process of continuous improvement and professional development, reinforcing cohesion among colleagues, collaboration and teamwork, fundamental values ​​in the culture of the centers. These groups will also make it possible to establish synergies not only in Portugal, but also with other VetPartners groups in Europe, with whom they share professional interests.

We continue working to improve the veterinary profession and, at the same time, establish meeting points between the different members of our family, point out from VetPartners.
