Initially operated by American Airlines, the route from Doha to New York was later shifted to Philadelphia. However, Qatar Airways is now reinstating the direct connection between Doha and New York, with the new flight slated to launch on October 30 this year. This additional service will operate from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

Notably, there exists a time difference of seven hours between Doha and New York City. One of the flight options enables travelers to depart and arrive on the same day. This service will utilize a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. It’s worth mentioning that Qatar Airways is likely to maintain its service between Doha and Philadelphia. Although these two airports are relatively close in proximity along the eastern coast of the United States, New York is positioned more as a destination or final destination from Doha, while Philadelphia primarily serves as a connecting hub. Gulf airlines are renowned for their exceptional hospitality. For instance, Etihad Airways boasts a fleet of 10 Airbus A380 aircraft, featuring The Apartment—a supremely exclusive, almost hotel-like onboard accommodation. Qatar Airways also continues to uphold its reputation for luxury, offering its first and business-class passengers the freedom to order meals at their convenience, free from rigid schedules. Additionally, the airline pampers its passengers with lavish amenity kits, contributing to an elevated travel experience.
