Claudia Sheinbaum, as the National Coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation, participated in the 15th Congress of the Autonomous Confederation of Workers and Employees of Mexico (CATEM).
During the congress, she secured the backing of 194 organizations and unions nationwide.
At the Mexico City Arena, CATEM announced its plan to establish 10 thousand Committees for the Defense of Labor Transformation. These committees aim to raise awareness about Fourth Transformation (4T) initiatives across the country, particularly those benefiting workers.
“I am thrilled to formalize this important partnership with CATEM,” Claudia Sheinbaum remarked at the event. She also reaffirmed her dedication to advocating for labor rights.
“I assure Mexican workers that we will continue to protect wages and labor benefits because we understand that the well-being of workers contributes to the prosperity of employers and the nation.
